The Park (gong yuan)

June is a young woman who loves her widowed father dearly, but cannot stand his constant interfering in her life. However, in order to compromise him, she breaks up with her boyfriend Doudou, who is much younger than her and hasn’t got a stable job yet. Father begins to search for new potential mates for her. He finds a match-making market in the local park, where parents have spontaneously assembled to match-make for their children. In order to comfort her father, June has to date in the park and meet different ridiculous men. While her father is meeting other parents to discuss their children’s compatibility, June begins to wonder if her father could also benefit from the company of another. Although father and daughter love each other deeply, they cannot seem to stop from hurting each other.
