Sleuth Miao Tan

After serving as a new scout, Miao Tan returns to his hometown to wait for a job assignment. At the time his sister Miao Lan suspects that her husband is having an affair, so she asks Miao Tan to tail his brother-in-law. Miao Tan begins his investigation, but things turn out to be farcical. In the end the family is reunited in trust, sincerity and happiness, while Miao’s clever work as a sleuth prepares him for his eventual job assignment as a member of the criminal branch of the police.
