In 1928, Japanese invaders terrorized Shangdong Peninsula. Li Huating, a tycoon from Jinan, the capital of Shandong Province, refuses to sign a statement favoring the Japanese government, and sends his daughter’s fiancé Cao Tianlong off to the anti-Japanese front. The Japanese then slaughter him and all his family. The loss of his family enrages Gao Tianlong. He resolves to exact revenge. He has much support, and even succeeds in winning over one of the paid killers of the Japanese, Ma Yunfei. At a press conference hosted by the Japanese authorities, he reveals that full extent of Japanese complicity. Finally he kills Kimura, the Japanese responsible for the murder and so avenges his family.
