Jin Jing, a timid middle-school girl of 13, admires the “Flower Skirt Art Troupe,” organized by her fellow students, but she does not have the courage to join them. She works as the accountant for the troupe. Unfortunately, two hooligans rob Jin Jing of the troupe’s money. Jin Jing blames herself, and she is determined to become a brave girl.
