By ChinaFilm.com Published: 2008-05-09
In Chongqing in 1943 American Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Morade receives information from British Major Charles that the Japanese have worked out a plan, known as “the Eagle’s Nest”, to destroy a US air force base in China, and that a spy has been sent over from Hong Kong. Shortly afterwards, a US captain disappears, a lieutenant-colonel is murdered and a confidential document goes missing. All clues point to the involvement of a woman. In the course of the investigation, Morade observes that a Chinese man An Jin, who is assigned to work with him, has recently taken two women into his house. One is his wife, whom he hasn’t seen for three years, and the other is his wife’s cousin. Morade manages to find out who is the spy, and then crush the enemy’s plot.
