The Decapitating Sword (duan hou jian)

This is the account of a mysterious legend which is said to have taken place at the end of the Ming Dynasty. Li Zicheng, leader of the peasant rebels, is defeated and escapes to the Nine Palace Mountains. His six bodyguards are ordered to escort a cart of valuables. Ma Long, one of the guards, is said to have killed their leader Fang Guoyi and absconded with the treasure. After that, the whereabouts of Ma and the treasure are un known. Ten years later, having mastered swordsmanship, Fang Zhao, son of Fang Guoyi, wants to find Ma Long and avenge his father.
