An Emperor on the Run (jiang hu ba mian feng)

After the Qing dynasty takes Beijing, the capital of the Ming dynasty, the Manchu government begins killing the emperor and officials of the late Ming dynasty. The Ming Emperor Zhu Youlang who has just been enthroned in Zhaoqing is pursued by Qing soldiers, and has to flee to the south with his officials. On the road, he encounters an avenging girl, outlaws, subordinates and national minorities, who either to protect him or kill him, start a series of fierce fights. Although he is saved by the Ming general Li Dingguo, he has no way of becoming emperor, and years later is killed by the famous Qing general Wu Sangui.
