Gold Chart (ming duo huang jin tu)

The story takes place at the end of Qing Dynasty. Jin Haiqing is dispatched to go gold prospecting with twenty warriors to verify the location of a gold mine in Northeast China. They endure many perils, and twelve of the men die, but they eventually succeed in locating the gold mine and charting the gold lode. Returning to their camp one day, Chu Yunlong, in collusion with some Japanese, come to seize the chart. At the same time, Yugu, a bandit chief, is also after the chart. After a trial of strength, Yugu is won over by Jin Haiqing and his men, and together they fight the Japanese. In the ensuing battle Jin Haiqing loses his life.
