Susu finds a diary of her grandmother who is serious ill. To remove the doubts in the diary, she heads for Vietnam by herself.

In a small border town, Susu meets a young Vietnamese Ah Min by chance. Since then, misunderstandings and conflicts occur between them. Fortunately, after experiencing a serious of incidents, they begin to understand and help each other. With the help of many Vietnamese people, Susu at last finds out that her grandmother fell in love with a Vietnamese young man Ah Shan when she ran a traditional Chinese medicine store “Wuxiangtang Pharmacy” in Vietnam decades ago. What’s more shocking, a Vietnamese old man has kept his promise to look after “Wuxiangtang Pharmacy” for dozens of years. His behavior moves the people in both China and Vietnam deeply.
