Tuya's Marriage in Paris

China Film Group’s Export and Import Co. had sold Tuya's Marriage, the Gold Bear winner in Berlin, to French Pretty Pictures by way of Beijing Screening as a platform.Through meticulous preparation, the French buyer formally released the film in Sep.2007 in French cinema chains. 45 prints had been made and launched in Paris, Lille and Nantes.This film will also be screened and telecasted in Beigium and other Franco-phone European countries’ cinemas and TV. For the preliminary promotion, the French side particularly invite Wang Quanan, the director and Yu Nan, actress of the film to the premier and promotion activeties in Paris.The screening caused a stir and almost all French major midia covered the story with photoes and commentaries, such as the Premiere monthly with a subscription of 260,000 and Le Monde with a subscription of 482,000.
